The Xikou terrace is a triangular plateau formed by a sharp bend in the Dahan Creek as it flows along the southern side of Jiaoban Mountain in the Fuxing District. Comprising four tiers, the upper two layers are terraced fields, while the lower two feature lawns. The third tier includes a small park, making it an ideal outdoor setting for geography education. The terrace can be viewed from Jiaoban Mountain at the Siping Pavilion or accessed by descending the stone steps from Jiaoban Mountain Park and crossing the Xikou Suspension Bridge. The Xikou Suspension Bridge is a remarkably slender and elegant structure with a history spanning more than four decades. At its center, one can enjoy a beautiful view of the Dahan Creek valley and the reservoir's abundant water storage.
