The “Hexing Youth Innovation Base” sits behind the former Hexing Police Station on Zhongshan Road, Lukang, Changhua County. Eight buildings cover roughly 1,377 m². The site still holds a Japanese-era wooden structure and a pair of washed-granite gateposts; from the second-floor skybridge the timeless beauty of the old jar wall is laid out before you. For many Lukang residents it is a living childhood memory; walking through the grounds feels like stepping into a time tunnel that returns you to the sweet days of old. To help young people stay in—or return to—their hometown, the base has been operated under an OT (Operate-Transfer) contract by Yuk-Chen-Hexing Co., Ltd. since 21 February 2023. By bringing in professional private-sector management and stronger marketing, the brand visibility of the youth base is being raised, drawing visitors to experience the creativity and drive of young entrepreneurs.
