The West Qi Community Activity Center in Dajia District is building the West Qi City, a dramatized story of the Zhou Dynasty’s “Book of the Immortal Gods.” The city walls are brightly colored, and the Q-version clay figures are lively and cute. The walls feature Dajia’s main agricultural products—taro, green onions, and butter shortbread—while interior murals depict the pilgrimage of the Mazu of Dajia, the evolution of the Dajia grass mat hat, and the essential story of the “Book of the Immortal Gods.” At the center of the city lies a basketball court, making the center a multifunctional activity hub that combines tourism and sports.
