The After-Lin Simulated Rifle Range is located in Houdui Village, Lieyu Township, connected to the main roads of Lieyu, offering highly convenient transportation. Early on, this camp served as a military logistics and supply unit, later also accommodating a medical station. Within the compound, various storage facilities exist; entering the main gate, visitors encounter signs depicting core operations such as maintenance, transportation, medical services, ammunition storage, water collection stations, and waste collection—highlighting the camp's historical significance. In 2014, following military downsizing, the facility was transferred to Kino Municipal Government for utilization. The Institute of National Defense successfully secured funding to procure simulated rifle shooting equipment, and the range officially opened to the public on January 31, 2018. It stands as Taiwan's first simulated rifle shooting hall. Visitors to Lieyu should not miss this immersive experience! Don camouflage gear, take up a rifle, and transform into a military commander defending the homeland within the animated simulation scenes. After completing the activity, participants receive an exclusive certificate—memorable both experientially and souvenird-wise! ◾️ Reservation must be done by phone in advance; availability follows the below timetable. ◾️ Fee: NT$50 (cleaning fee).
