This trail begins at lane 176, Zhongzheng Road, Wufeng District, and along the way you pass by verdant rice paddies that emit a sweet, fragrant aroma. After turning left at Ciyu Temple, you enter the mountain trail. This trail is in a pollution-free area, allowing you to absorb abundant phytoncides. Lined with shade-giving trees, sparse grasses, chirping birds, and singing insects, it’s a place of great tranquility. If you’re lucky, you may spot red dragonflies, macaques, and various bird species, which makes for a refreshing experience. The trail is cleaned daily by community volunteers, keeping it neat and tidy, and it features directional signs, a pavilion, and a high viewpoint. There are two observation platforms and a small garden from which you can enjoy vistas of Wufeng, Caotun, Wuxi, National Highway 6, and the surrounding green hills. Nearby attractions such as the Agricultural Research Institute and the Earthquake Museum add cultural character, making this a wonderful spot for the public to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
