Spending over 1 billion, the “Yīngkuàndào Zǔshī Jìniàngguǎn – Bái Yáng Shèngmiào,” built over more than 20 years, emulates the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. The entire exterior wall is finished in Jing‑Tai‑Lan blue enamel, with pure copper and gold inset, creating a magnificent brilliance. Its area and height are larger than those of the Beijing Temple of Heaven, making it truly a wonder of both past and present—a world‑unmatched masterpiece. The whole building stands 54 m tall, with an interior floor area of 300 tái (about 993 m²) and an exterior floor area of 300 tái. The three‑tier roof structure of the Temple of Heaven symbolizes heaven, earth, and humanity. Inside, four large central pillars represent the four seasons—spring, summer, autumn, and winter—dividing the year into 12 months and further into 24 solar terms. This design incorporates the principles of Daoism into the architecture, fulfilling the goals of predecessors and inviting Daoists worldwide to participate in striving for the Maitreya homeland.
