During the Xianfeng period of the Qing dynasty, the eastern area of Tamsui River, Dahu Rice Field, was commercially prosperous, which also promoted the development of Sanchongpu. Sanchongpu refers to the present-day districts of Sanchong and Lujhu in New Taipei City. Sanchong was under the administration of Lujhu Township until 1947, when it was formally separated from Lujhu. Due to its convenient transportation and proximity to Taipei City, Sanchong has been chosen by many people from other places as a place to rent or buy houses, making it the area with the most immigrant population around Taipei City. When the domestic economy took off, "the living room is the factory" was the main theme of Sanchong at that time. Almost every household was engaged in product processing, but due to the large production scale, it dominated the mechanical parts industry in Taiwan. When you are not familiar with Sanchong, you may find it chaotic, but when you get to know it better, you will find it orderly, and once you are familiar with it, you will feel extremely warm and cozy. Sanchong's Bi Hua Street, originally a wholesale fabric location, was born from the concept of thriftiness and frugality. By classifying, organizing, and creatively utilizing fabric scraps, it developed the style of Bi Hua Street. There are many new and interesting things here waiting for you to explore!
