In 2004 (Republic of China year 93), the Taichung County Government built the “Wanxuan Residence” during the Qingtong‑Zhenghe period. It is a rare large manor house in central Taiwan and holds great significance in the development history of the Fengyuan area. The construction technique incorporates styles from the Zhang, Quan, and Chao schools, and it is officially listed as a historic building.
Opening hours: Monday to Sunday (09:00–12:00, 14:00–17:00). Because elderly residents and children still live in the old house, please walk lightly during your visit so as not to disturb their living space. If residents do not allow entry to certain areas, please respect their privacy and do not enter.
