Palace Crystal – Experience the Culinary Elegance of Ancient and Modern Times
Palace Crystal is located on the west side of the Palace Museum's main building, extending the Palace Museum's recent concept of "Old is new," drawing on the Palace Museum's artistic collections to name delicacies, becoming a cultural feast that blends ancient and modern times.
On the lifelike "Jade Greens" dish, a cherry shrimp is cleverly painted to add the finishing touch of a cricket, and once it is served, it immediately amazes diners; the premium pig's trotters are braised, cooled, and then finely carved into the shape of a "Meat Stone." The "Palace Treasures Banquet" at Palace Crystal showcases the Palace's treasured artifacts transformed into delectable dishes, combined with dishes such as "White Jade Lychee," "Yuan Dynasty Cloud Forest Goose," "Fresh Fruit Mao Gong Tripod," and "Treasure Box Imperial Snacks," forming nine highlights of culinary art. By using cultural creativity, it eliminates the rigid distance of cultural relics and brings them into people's lives.
This five-story culinary art hall extensively uses cultural elements in its architectural exterior, interior design, tableware, and dining, offering services from the ground floor upwards, including Taiwanese specialty snacks, creative drinks, single dishes from the eight major Chinese cuisines with Cantonese cuisine as the main focus, ten private rooms such as "Lantingju," and a multi-functional banquet hall on the top floor, welcoming guests with enthusiasm.
