Rebrewing, the Taiwanese sake legend—Wufeng Farmers’ Association Winery—is Taiwan’s first enchanting kura infused with Japanese aesthetics, carrying forward the Japanese toji spirit of “pouring heart and soul” into every drop. We meticulously select the fragrant Yichuan rice grown exclusively in Wufeng, and draw the purest, sweetest spring water from Puli. We cordially invite you on an intoxicating “kura tour” to savor the most moving brewing culture and charm of Wufeng Farmers’ Association Winery.
Sake is a beautiful liquor brewed primarily from rice, carrying an unbelievable rice aroma! The rice used in sake brewing is a key determinant of quality. Since 2002, the Wufeng Farmers’ Association has guided local farmers to successfully cultivate “Tainung No. 71” fragrant rice, winning honors such as National Champion Rice and Top Ten Classic Fine Rice. In gratitude for Dr. Kuo Yi-chuan of the Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute, the President at the time named this dreamy rice “Yichuan Fragrant Rice.”
To increase the added value of Yichuan Fragrant Rice, create Wufeng as its hometown, and launch a fragrant-rice cultural and creative industry, the Wufeng Farmers’ Association traveled to Japan to experiment with brewing sake from this rice, successfully creating Taiwan’s most dreamy and premium sake—a natural gift from Wufeng’s beautiful land. Wufeng Farmers’ Association Winery remains committed to brewing fine sake from fine rice, and we dedicate it especially to you.
