Located near the Qiaotou Sugar Factory and provincial roads, the Baishu Community was once just an unremarkable village. In 2011, the Qiaotou Cultural and Historical Association initiated a project, inviting eight creators to repaint old houses in the community with murals. Starting from the central House of the Deities (Daifutian), the artwork extended to both sides, with each creation displaying a unique style—some quirky and humorous, others cute and heartwarming. Some integrated rural culture while others created striking contrasts, adding color to the monotonous red-brick or metal houses and infusing new energy into the aging countryside. Under the artists' skilled hands, several broken walls and dilapidated structures were transformed into the most popular art installation spots. Tourists can happily take photos with their favorite artworks and leisurely stroll through the community to enjoy the relaxed rural lifestyle.
