Pizzeria Chu is located at the corner of Anhe Road in East District, Chiayi City, in a pure white, irregular, standalone villa that looks like a mansion. The firewood at the entrance and the "oven" in the showcase spark curiosity, and "Pizzeria Chu" has been popular even before its opening. The owner, who has worked in a restaurant in Taichung for many years, had decided to open his own restaurant when he first entered the kitchen. He can handle both Western and Italian cuisine, and after careful consideration of the manpower and the acceptance of the Chiayi consumer market, he finally decided to open a "Neapolitan Pizza Specialist Store". He has also invested more in the research of pizza and obtained certification from Accademia Pizzaioli Taiwan, a professional Italian pizza art academy. Initially, the focus was on "Neapolitan Pizza" to appeal to young people, but unexpectedly, many middle-aged and elderly people were also impressed. They had previously been resistant to pizza, but after tasting Pizzeria Chu's pizza, they were convinced of its deliciousness and high quality. The best-selling item at the beginning was the "Truffle Mushroom Half-cooked Egg Pizza" that would burst with sauce, but later, each type of pizza gained its own loyal followers, with high support rates. The "Winter" pizza, made with Chiayi's specialty mullet roe, is a tribute to local ingredients. The menu also includes salads, fried foods, and soft drinks that can be ordered separately, as well as craft beer that pairs well with pizza.
