The Three Mountain Kings are the collective name for the mountain deities of Mount Jin, Mount Ming, and Mount Du in Jieyang County, Guangdong Province. Later, Emperor Taizong of the Song dynasty bestowed upon them the title of the Three Mountain Kings. During the Kangxi reign of the Qing dynasty, the Three Mountain Kings crossed the sea to Taiwan along with a person from Guangdong and have since been worshipped there, becoming one of the temples of the Hakka people.
