Taiwan Two-Finger Tea – A Journey Through Tea Making
Travel back to the past, when the tea shop owner was still an 8‑year‑old boy full of wonder. Influenced by the gentle, tea‑loving environment of his elders, the owner and the tea embarked on a long and astonishing journey together. To create a brew that suited an 8‑year‑old palate, he experimented with roasting techniques and tried to shorten the roasting time. However, unfamiliar with the machine, an accident severed his left middle finger and ring finger. With the remaining eight fingers, he could still live as before; dedicating those two fingers to tea became a lifelong mark of his devotion to perfecting the brew.
The shop sells organic tea, “Rainfall” cream cake, tea‑oil noodle, bubble milk tea, beef‑bone biscuits, and “Chew‑Your‑Fingers” pineapple pastries, among other specialty items. On Saturdays and Sundays, saxophone performances are available, and a family sandpit area is also provided for adults and children to enjoy together.
