Cactus Park in Tsingwan features a diverse array of unique plant species as well as precious historical remnants, including intact Japanese colonial era military barracks, observation stations, artillery batteries, ammunition storage, and drainage channels. Among these is the Taishan Fortress Artillery Battery dating back to 1902, recognized as the earliest Japanese-style artillery fort in Penghu. Adjacent to the park lies the Penghu International Diving Center, boasting an ideal natural harbor terrain where calmer waves make it especially suitable for diving beginners. A mere three-minute drive away is the pristine coral-sand beach of Cangli, stretching over one kilometer and composed of coral and shell fragments. The gently sloping seafloor and striking turquoise waters complement scenic aeolian sand dunes, making it Penghu Island's finest natural seawater beach. Though once a highly famous attraction, visitor numbers have declined relatively with recent business closures, leaving the beach tranquil and less crowded. Walking along Cangli's village streets also reveals sun-dried fish landscapes, since Cangli remains characteristically a fishing village with numerous seafood processing facilities. Be sure to try Cangli's famed fermented fish paste when visiting this area!
