The Xiaoyou Pit is a post-volcanic activity geological landscape area. From the Xiaoguan Yin Station on the Yangjin Highway, turn right to reach the observation trail. It is most notable for its post-volcanic action, which has formed blowholes, sulfur crystals, hot springs, and spectacular collapse landforms. From the observation platform here, you can also see volcanic cones such as Zhuzishan, Datuanshan, Qixingshan and Xiaoguan Yinshan, as well as the Jinshan coastline. For visitors who like to observe plants, it also takes only ten-odd minutes to visit the nearby Arrow Bamboo Forest Trail to observe the arrow bamboo forests, the Miscanthus grasslands, and volcanic plants.
