Within the Yangming Mountain National Park lies the Zhongshan Hall, constructed in 1965 by President Chiang Kai-shek to commemorate the centenary birthday of Dr. Sun Yat-sen. Designed by renowned architect Ms. Hsiu Tsai-lan, the building is nestled among lush mountain scenery, featuring a traditional Chinese classical architectural style. Its interior is elegantly arranged with refined details. In the past, it served as the venue for the National Assembly and as an important site for state banquets and foreign diplomatic engagements of the national leader. Currently, it has been designated as a municipal historic site and opens for public venue rental, guided tours, and visits. This structure holds significant historical value.
