The entrance to the "Longtuanyan Trail" is located at No. 62, Bishan Road, Neihu District. The 600-meter stone path offers a great opportunity to observe the local ecology along the way.

"Longtuanyan" is situated below the ridge line of Kaigan Mountain, a white granite outcrop with an elevation of 300 meters. It is shaped like a dragon boat, hence earning its popular name "Stone Boat" or "Longtuanyan" among locals. Due to its position on the mountain ridge, standing on this rock offers a 90-degree cliff on one side and a 45-degree escarpment on the other. Visitors are advised to exercise caution for their own safety. Nearby locations such as Kaigan Mountain, Bishan, Baishihu Mountain, and Wuji Mountain are also mountain ranges within Neihu District and belong to the Wuji Mountain system. The trail near Longtuanyan is accessible by public bus to Shikekeng Station. From there, a 1-kilometer hike through the small stone pathway leads to the destination. The trail is lined with various ferns and wild plants, enhancing the pleasure of the journey. The path winds continuously to the summit. Standing atop Longtuanyan, one can have a panoramic view of Shikekeng Mountain and Kaigan Mountain, offering an expansive, unspoiled landscape that allows a temporary escape from urban noise. The surrounding fields and natural scenery further enhance the rustic charm, creating a refreshing and tranquil atmosphere.
