Cai Bu Ao is located in the northeastern part of Western Jusan Island and belongs to Tianwu Village. The name of the coastal area originated from its abundant production of purple laver. A large reef nearby, known as "Cai Bu Print," is under the ownership of the Chen Yuanshuai Temple Management Committee. Each time the purple laver reaches its harvest season, the management committee conducts public bidding, and only the successful bidder is allowed to gather the laver on the reef. The coastal natural landscapes of Cai Bu Ao mainly feature typical cone-shaped granite formations, with highly undulating and steep terrain. The granite veins extend in a radial pattern into the sea, forming valleys and bays of varying sizes. The hard granite has undergone long-term weathering and wave erosion, creating rugged cliffs and dangerous reefs, resulting in a highly diverse coastal topography. Cai Bu Ao is not only a significant tourist site in Luzhang Township. Due to its complex water currents and rich fish resources, it is also one of the most favored fishing spots among anglers.
