Simplified Chinese:
The temple is dedicated to the Three Officials:
- Festival dates: the 15th day of the 1st lunar month, the 15th day of the 7th lunar month, and the 15th day of the 10th lunar month.
The locals commonly refer to it as “Wǔ Lǐ Tíng”; in the Qing Dynasty it was called “Jiā Yīn Tíng”.
Originally, the shrine was simply a pavilion for travelers to rest. There is no record of when the pavilion began to serve as a place of worship.
In 1937, villagers urged a renovation and the pavilion in front of the shrine was removed. The Three Officials were relocated to the center, and the shrine was officially renamed “Sān Guān Diàn”.
