Due to its proximity to the DaDaoCheng dock, in the early days, it was a gathering place for street vendors and dockworkers from various places. As a result, many food stalls selling staple snacks such as oyster vermicelli, braised pork rice, and rice cakes emerged around the area. After retiring from the military, the first-generation boss Liu Yanshan also started selling savory rice cakes here. He carefully started from grinding the paste and simmering the bone soup, and this tradition has been passed down for nearly 50 years. The rice cakes are hand-molded, relatively small in size, with thin and soft skin, and the filling is juicy and solid. In addition to clear soup, they can also be added with pork intestine and liver, which are the signature "pork intestine savory rice cakes" and "liver savory rice cakes." Fresh liver is quickly sliced into large, thin pieces and blanched, with a tender texture and no trace of blood, offering an extremely fresh taste. A single bowl contains as many as 7 or 8 slices of liver, with generous and abundant ingredients.
