雲林縣林內鄉成功路48號
The large family of the Zheng clan in Linnei built the Kaiming Temple to honor Zheng Chenggong, the revered national hero, and also venerated the ancestor of the Yanlin Mountain, a figure of humility and repentance. According to tradition, the temple was originally constructed during the Xanfeng era by members of the Linnei Zheng clan. During the late Japanese colonial period, amid the Japanese imperialist policy of "Hanization," the temple was demolished by the Japanese, and the site was converted into the Linnei Shrine. It was not until the 1950s, during the Republic of China period, that the temple was rebuilt at its current location. Photograph: Xue Yingqi (photograph licensed; please do not repost).
