宜蘭縣蘇澳鎮南澳路6號
Introduction The Nan'ao Leisure Agriculture Area is located on both sides of the Taiwan Highway No. 9, also known as the Su-Hua Highway, and is part of the southernmost town in Yilan. Due to its remote location and slower development, the area has retained an abundance of natural and cultural resources. The area spans across and covers the Nan'ao Village and Bi Hou Village of Nan'ao Township, as well as the Nanqiang and Chaoyang villages of Su'ao Township. [Friendly Organic Food Travel] Friendly Good Rice (organic/friendly/natural rice) and segment wood mushroom. Nan'ao is geographically isolated by mountains and has no factories, creating favorable conditions for organic farming. Currently, the Nan'ao area is home to a group of organic rice producers, including friendly rice, naturally grown rice, and other varieties (collectively known as "Friendly Good Rice"). Due to the high rainfall and frequent typhoons in the area, the main crops grown in Nan'ao are spring-sown and summer-harvested. The combination of rainfall and the Atayal people's forest has made Nan'ao an important location for segment wood mushroom cultivation. Other crops grown in the area include millet, corn, hamigua, wax gourd, watermelon, calabash, pumpkin, chili peppers, carrots, and various health-promoting crops such as honey, roselle, ginger, turmeric, and red velvet.
