The Guanghe Temple, located at No. 608, Zhongzheng Road, Xinpu Township, Hsinchu County, is locally referred to as the "Wangye Temple". However, it does not enshrine the Five Marshall Halls, which are Wangye beliefs; instead, it primarily enshrines the Three Mountain Kings. This is because Hakka people refer to the Three Mountain Kings as "Wangye". As the Three Mountain Kings are a unique belief of the Hakka people, when they migrated to Taiwan, they brought this belief with them. Therefore, the Guanghe Temple is also the spiritual center of the Hakka people in the Xinpu area and one of the most renowned temples in the region. The most notable feature of the Guanghe Temple is its architectural style of "dui chang zuo" (literally "opposite workshop construction"). This style is similar to that of the Wanhui Temple in Wan Dan Township, Pingtung County. The temple is constructed with its central axis as the boundary, and the left and right wood carvings were crafted by two different teams of master craftsmen. Hence, the hanging buckets, corner decorations, and lion seats on the left and right sides are slightly different, reflecting the work of different master craftsmen.
