Chongguang Village was previously known as Houkutang before its restoration. The terrain slopes from south to north. Early rainfall caused water accumulation forming three pools named "Sun Pool," "Middle Pool," and "Moon Pool." During the 24th year of the Republic era (1935), when Weiling Palace was expanded, the Lingshao Pagoda was renovated and the "Zhangshui God" stele was installed. It is said to have been used to counteract the "water beam" flowing northward from southern farmland, while the Moon Pool's arched surface faces the northern Houmen Gate, serving to pacify water-related malevolent energies.
