Mudan Station is located in Mudan Village, Shuangxi District, New Taipei City, and is a railway station on the Yilan Line of the Taiwan Railways Administration. It was originally called "Wudankeng Station" and was relocated to its current site in 1924. To ease the gradient for trains, the station was designed with a 120-degree sharp curve—an essential photo-op where the front and rear of a train can face each other, making it a must-visit for railfans! The spot draws crowds who wait for trains to enter the station: you can capture the cars creeping through the big curve, and sometimes even snap a car and a train side-by-side. This unique track layout once caught the eye of a well-known Japanese car brand and became an advertising location—an unmissable pilgrimage for railway enthusiasts!
