Fengshan and Qishan are located at the end of Kengzikou Mountain in Xinfeng Township. They are named for their shape resembling the nose of a phoenix, and are commonly known as Fengbiwei. Entering from the industrial road beside Ming Hsin University, and looking down from the coastal highland at the west end, one can see Guanyin Township to the north, and Hsinchu and Xiangshan Plains to the south. At sunset, the mountain and the evening glow complement each other. The glow reflects off the sea. The Gazetteer of Danshui Hall records the two peaks as one of the eight scenic spots of Danshui Hall, and names them "Fengqi Wanxiao".
