Flying Phoenix Mountain has an elevation of 435.5 meters and is the highest peak of the Nine Bamboo Mountains. It gets its name from the mountain's shape resembling a flying phoenix stretching its neck and folding its wings to descend. The mountain is densely planted with white plum blossoms, azaleas, and phoenix trees. The mountain's appearance changes with the seasons. Within the mountainous area are famous scenic spots such as Yun Gu Temple, Dai Quan Hall, Gan Ying Bridge, Xin Feng Pool, and Lotus Pool. Walking along the shaded pathways, one can enjoy the cool breeze and relief from the heat. The phoenix trees planted on Flying Phoenix Mountain bloom in the summer, turning the surroundings fiery red. In winter, the plum blossoms bloom, covering the area in white. "Flying Phoenix to Explore Plum" has long been listed as one of the Eight Scenic Spots in Zhu County. At the back of the mountain, there are trails built by the county government for hiking, leisurely strolls, and panoramic views.
