雲林縣林內鄉聖宮路15號
For more than fifty years, the Tiansheng Temple—dedicated to Lord Guan—has served not only as the villagers’ spiritual anchor but also, with its broad, serene forecourt, as a daytime gathering spot where locals relax and chat, embodying Linnei Township’s blend of religious and everyday life. Built over half a century ago, the temple honors Lord Guan, affectionately called “Enzhu Gong.” Seasonal rites fill the year, climaxing on the 24th day of the sixth lunar month when his birthday is celebrated with grand festivities. Tiansheng Temple sits partway up Pillow Mountain; its spacious plaza includes a basketball court and two large shade trees that visitors favor for cooling off. Behind the temple lies dense virgin forest; in front stretch orange groves, while on the left bamboo groves provide habitat for the rare eight-colored kingfisher. Mixed stands of tall timber shelter abundant birdlife, making the area exceptionally rich in ecological resources.
