Located between Jingtong Station and Pingxi Station on the Pingxi Line, Xiǎo Zǐ Mountain is actually a general term for a trail system, with several independent peaks, including Xiǎo Zǐ Mountain, Cí Mǔ Peak, Pǔ Tuó Mountain, Cí Ēn Ridge, and Zhōng Yǎn Peak. Although the mountain is not as high as others, its steep and rugged peaks are not to be underestimated. The most thrilling part of climbing Xiǎo Zǐ Mountain is the final stretch of suspended steel ladders to the summit. However, if one can successfully climb up the nearly vertical rock face, they can take in a breathtaking view of the entire Keelung River Valley from the top. Due to the surrounding peaks, with over 20 large and small hills, it is called the "Twenty-Four Filial Piety Mountain". Because the mountain shape resembles Huangshan in mainland China, Xiǎo Zǐ Mountain is also known as "Little Huangshan".
