The "2001–2002 Nutritional Status of Elementary-School Children" survey conducted by Academia Sinica for the Department of Health revealed that most elementary-school students have unhealthy eating habits, resulting in nutritional imbalances, particularly a severe deficiency in calcium and dietary fiber. Kuang Chuan Dairy believes that proper dietary knowledge must be taught from an early age to instill correct concepts in school-age children, and therefore designed this off-campus learning program. Through carefully planned lessons, children visit a dairy farm and the milk-processing plant, turning textbook nutrition knowledge into real-life experiences. Combined with ongoing school education, this step-by-step approach fosters healthy eating habits.
