The Da Wu Zhi Xin Nan Hui Yiy rest station boasts extensive grounds, featuring a two-story building of 560 ping in size, in addition to parking space for 78 motorcycles, 112 passenger cars, and 17 buses. Its scale rivals that of highway rest areas. As the largest rest station in Taitung County and one of the few large-scale stops in the Nan Hui Region, it not only provides travelers with rest areas but also serves as a showcase for local specialties. The marketplace features many well-known Taitung snacks, such as indigenous A-ha snacks, renowned local buns, and cuisine made from Taitung’s natural, pollution-free organic ingredients and medicinal herbs. In addition to these famous brands, the marketplace also offers agritourism exhibits and kiosks for farm products directly sold by local farmers, allowing travelers to select creative souvenirs crafted from regional ingredients. An irregularly held outdoor market promises to be a delightful surprise along the journey, enabling visitors to buy gifts and agricultural goods while forming a connection with the local community. The rest station also includes large exhibition areas for the unique ethnic groups, culture, and products of Da Wu Township. Integrating with the recently launched "Nan Hui Art Season," the nearby Da Wu Fishing Port promenade showcases the art installation "No. 1314 Blue," ensuring that travelers experience at the Da Wu Zhi Xin Nan Hui Yiy not only rest and souvenirs but also insight into Taitung’s rich cultural heritage and the vibrant energy of its artistic community.
