新北市瑞芳區明燈路三段82號
In 1919, the Yilan Line railway from Badu to Ruifang was opened, and Ruifang officially set up a train station. Currently, the train station is still an important transfer station for entering Jiufen (Jinguashi and Shuijin洞), coastal fishing villages (Ruifang, Nanya, and Bitoujiao), and the Pingxi Line of the Taipei Railway. After 2013, the long-awaited Deep Ocean Line will resume operation at the third platform, and the station will be transformed from a mining station to a tourist station. Ruifang Train Station is one of the top 30 stations in terms of passenger traffic on the Taiwan Railways, mainly due to its cultural and tourist development. In front of Ruifang Train Station, there is a "Station Plaza" where various performances are held during festivals (such as Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival). Next to the plaza, there is a "Taxi Station" where tourists can take taxis. Within a 50-100 meter walk from the station, there is a "Ruifang Food Street" located at No. 2, Lane 35, Minsheng Street, Ruifang District. The street offers a variety of delicious food, including the famous Longfeng Leg and Lin's Fuzhou Pepper Cake. Tourists should not forget to try these dishes. Behind Ruifang Train Station, tourists can visit the Ruifang Shrine ruins and the old street of Ruifang, where they can see some famous ancient houses, such as the remains of the Qing dynasty Liao House (Liao Jianfang Commercial Building), the remains of the Japanese-style police station of the Lin Dental Clinic, and the Yifang Commercial Building. Walking along the Yuewang Road, tourists can pass through the Ruifang Old Trail and reach the Luchaoshan and Xiuzai Mountain, which are great for hiking. Behind the train station, there is also the Baoyun Taro Ball, which is a must-try for food lovers.
