Located between Dalu Street 131 Lane and Neihu Road 3rd Section 60 Lane, the Bilu Trail is a beautiful path hidden among residential communities. Due to its rich ecology and historical industrial significance, it has been planned as an educational and recreational mountain trail. It is connected to the Dagou Stream Trail, Yuanjue Temple Trail, and Luyishan Trail. It is convenient to access, suitable for visitors of all ages.
At the entrance of the trail near Dalu Street 131 Lane, there is a realistic mine scene, with ancient-style mines, iron tracks, and coal carts, as if you have arrived at an actual mine. In the past, this area was prosperous in coal mining, and it was the location of the "Xinfuben Pit," which wrote a chapter in the local industrial development.
The trail is mostly flat, with only a short section of steep ascent, and there is a small platform for exercise and stretching. The path consists of wooden decks, gravel, granite blocks, and red bricks, offering a multi-layered trail experience. Along the way, there are one or two small vegetable gardens, and the trail weaves between houses. Ferns, acacia trees, and large-leaf pines are seen everywhere. If lucky, you might see the Taiwan blue magpie flying through the forest, the great horned eagle circling in the sky, or even a red-bellied squirrel running by.
The last part of the trail is especially pleasant. Out-of-town visitors are sure to envy the residents living here, as they can hear the rustling sound of bamboo groves from their windows. If you want to explore more, continuing to Yuanjue Temple, Bishan Yan, and Baishi Lake are all great choices. While enjoying nature, you can also feel the solemn and clean atmosphere of the temples.
