Entering Yuan Yuan feels like stepping into a northern-style inn—not luxurious, but with a refined atmosphere. The staff is attentive and hospitable, giving a strong impression of a northern inn. The restaurant's kitchen features an open design, allowing you to watch the cooking process. The cuisine mainly consists of northern Chinese dim sum, snacks, and noodles. You can choose different types of tea to accompany your meal. The refined dishes include steamed dumplings, chicken soup, spring rolls, crab shell yellow pancakes, fried noodles, steamed dumplings, stir-fried rice noodles, pan-fried dumplings, braised noodles, stir-fried vegetables, and more—all of which are very popular. The red bean cake here is a well-known signature dessert, deeply loved by Madame Chiang Kai-shek. The making process is complicated and takes two days to complete. The cake is soft and not greasy, making it an ideal gift.
