Located near the Xindian MRT Station, in the central area of Xindian District, New Taipei City, the Xindian River flows through here, forming a bright orange and green, calm and wide river surface. It is named "Bitan" (Green Pool). From the ferry terminal to Bitan Bridge, the area covers 27 hectares and is a historically significant tourist destination. The western bank has steep cliffs and is known as the "Little Red Cliff."
