Shulin Station is located in Shulin District, New Taipei City, and is a railway station of the Taiwan Railways Administration Western Line, also serving as the main starting and ending point for Tzu-Chiang limited express trains. After exiting the east station, walk across Bānlín Road to enter Bānqiáo District. Shulin Station is a cross-station with three platforms, the first and second of which are island platforms, and the third is a side platform. The former Shulin Station only had two platforms, and the third platform was completed and put into use in 2007. However, most trains still use the first and second platforms, and the third platform is used for dynamic dispatching and starting and ending point trains. The station is located 41.030 km from the starting point of the Western Line in Keelung, and the address is No. 112, Zhèn Qián Street, Shulin District, New Taipei City. The station has two affiliated stations: Shulin Station and Shulin Marshalling Yard, and is classified as a first-class station under the Taiwan Railways Administration Taipei Operations Section, serving as the starting point for east line trains and the base for train formation.
