Daxi Mausoleum originally served as "Head Village Guesthouse," a simple quadrangle used solely for storing government documents. After the passing of Former President Chiang Chin-kuo in 1988, the Head Village Guesthouse was renamed Daxi Mausoleum. The mausoleum contains only a memorial hall and former office for Chiang Chin-kuo, both sparsely furnished to reflect his modest nature. The garden's plum trees and red pines further enhance the serene, elegant atmosphere. The Daxi Mausoleum is approximately 1 kilometer from Tzu Lake Mausoleum, connected by a scenic pilgrimage trail. As seasons change, the trail's mountain scenery transforms in color, allowing visitors to leisurely enjoy its streams and greenery.
