Chiming Temple was established in 1989 and serves as the spiritual center of Caoling. It enshrines Sakyamuni Buddha as its principal deity, accompanied by the Four-Faced Buddha, as well as Thailand’s national-treasure ancient statues of Manjusri and Samantabhadra Bodhisattvas. The Four-Faced Buddha was transported from Thailand and is said to have repeatedly performed miracles and answered prayers; it is also one of Caoling’s famous landmarks.
