Arriving at the LaK Sleep Culture Hall, you’ll find a space that’s nothing like the mattress-only showroom you might have imagined. Besides introductions to every kind of bed, you can trace the evolution of sleeping furniture from ancient to modern times. On site you’ll see Grandma’s red wedding bed, a 70-year-old spring mattress from the Japanese-colonial era, and every generation of LaK’s own products. Those indestructible LaK mattresses—once sold out because business was so brisk—have now been donated back by long-time customers for display. Statistics show that a LaK spring bed lasts an average of 33 years. A good mattress truly stands the test of time, yet finding the right one still requires lying down and trying it yourself, so the sleep-experience area is always a visitor favorite. The hall also packs plenty of education and fun: a rainbow maze, photo corners, LaK’s premium bed zone, revolving stage, DIY classroom… you can spend hours here, adults and kids alike, making it perfect for a family outing. Lantern-spring beds suited to Taiwan’s climate. Visits are by reservation; on weekdays you may even watch mattresses being made. Guided tours let you peek inside a spring bed’s structure…
