The world's largest glove is right here! The Taiwan Glove Museum was founded by Mr. Chen Yi-yi, chairman of E-Jhan Sports Co., Ltd.—Taiwan’s last remaining factory for sewn sports gloves. Located on Sheshi Road in Shetou Township’s hosiery industry park, it covers 1,750 m² and is the only museum on the planet devoted entirely to gloves. Integrating museum, art gallery, and visitor-factory functions, it offers a multifaceted experience: the diversity of a museum, the expertise of a glove factory, and artistic creations that make it feel like a glove art gallery. Designed as a visitor-factory, the site offers both dynamic and static exhibits, plus a DIY classroom, a learning lab, and a children’s play area. A “Global Glove Sales Zone” displays and sells gloves for every purpose, including rare specialty gloves seldom seen in Taiwan. The museum’s crown jewel is a 5.8-meter-tall “World’s Largest Glove”—256 times the size of an ordinary glove, sewn entirely by hand. Claiming the title of the world’s biggest, it dwarfs the current 2.5-meter record in the United States.
