The mobile temple, commonly known as the Six‑Room Matsu, is venerated in the counties of Douliu, Huwei, Dounan, Dapuei, and Tuku in Yunlin, as well as in Wu‑gu’s thirty‑six villages. It has no fixed shrine; the Matsu statue follows the firemaster wherever he goes. Every lunar April, a fire‑moving ceremony is held, and tens of thousands of people accompany Matsu on her relocation. The association is currently managed by the Taiwanese Six‑Room Matsu Association.
