The owner of Fucun Wellness Farm had worked in hotels such as Taipei's Yuanshan for many years and had cooked Zhejiang-style home-cooked dishes that Mr. Chiang Ching-kuo loved to eat. Working for over a dozen hours a day for many years took a toll on the owner's health, leaving him half-dead.
After being introduced by someone, he returned to his hometown and purchased the Sijia mountain forest, retiring to the countryside. Over the past decade, he has distanced himself from the urban bustle; his farm now grows over 20 types of fruits, and he insists on not spraying pesticides or using chemical fertilizers, carefully crafting a pollution-free wellness farm.
Visitors can pick persimmons and participate in eco-teaching programs. Under the guidance of several esteemed individuals, the farm has cultivated and researched various medicinal herbs, curing the owner and his mother-in-law of their various ailments.
From the farm, you can look down and see the Hou-long Stream winding through the hills, offering a broad view. When you arrive here, you can't help but relax your tense nerves and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
