This mansion was built by the brothers Hsueh Yung-nan during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, after they became wealthy through business in the Philippines. The traditional layout of each floor, with one hall and four rooms, the continuous arch-shaped columns, and even the watchtower used for security and observation, all reveal an ancient atmosphere. If you go up to the second floor, you can enjoy the view of the Zhushan settlement centered around the ancestral temple from the corridor outside.
