Shuanglong Waterfall Park (2025) begins allowing visitors to enter the park by private car from January 1. Shuanglong Waterfall is located to the southeast of the Shuanglong village and is divided into upper and lower falls, resembling two dragons in the sky, hence the name. Starting from the Catholic church to Shuanglong Waterfall takes approximately 60 minutes, with the opportunity to admire the scenic Shuanglong settlement and terraced fields along the way. The forest trail leading to the waterfall is lined with mountain cherries and plum trees; during blooming season, their subtle fragrance gently fills the air, relieving the weariness of hiking. The 2020 opened Shuanglong Rainbow Suspension Bridge, 342 meters long and 110 meters deep, is the longest and deepest suspension bridge nationwide, spanning an imposing valley with great challenge. The well-developed loop trail and scenic platforms are ideal for leisurely walks, forest bathing, and experiencing the beauty of the indigenous tribal area. The water supply suspension bridge is dedicated for transmitting tap water pipelines; only maintenance staff may access this restricted area, while the public cannot approach it. There is also a narrow but powerful irrigation canal, its mighty water flow providing irrigation for the entire village, serving as the vital headwater source of the beautiful Shuanglong Waterfall. Entering the downstream waterfall area of the canyon known as the "Black Forest," the roaring waterfall sound gradually intensifies. Viewing the immense water cascading forcefully down mountain cliffs and enjoying the refreshing mist that thoroughly washes away worldly dust—after visiting Shuanglong Waterfall, you’ll feel yourself as "a living dragon." ■The old water source suspension bridge is exclusively for inspection and maintenance workers.
