The Blessing Mother Temple, also known as the Blessing Palace of Erlun, is located in the Tien‑e settlement primarily inhabited by families with the surname Liao. It was originally built during the Qianlong era as a temple dedicated to the land deity Fu De Zheng Shen. Later, the residents transferred the spirit of the western spiral’s Great Blessing Palace and brought the Matsu shrine here, transforming it into a Matsu temple. In 1993 (Republic of China year 82), the temple was rebuilt; the old temple was moved to the rear, creating a coexistence of the old and new structures.
