The親水吊橋 (Aquatic Suspension Bridge) located in Pinglin District, New Taipei City, is situated at the end of the Pinglin Image Market. To access the bridge, simply follow the staircase under the sign near the gas station. The original concept behind the design of the Pinglin Aquatic Suspension Bridge was "雙龍合抱,共佑坪林" ("Two dragons embracing, jointly protecting Pinglin"). The bridge spans across the Beishi Creek, measuring approximately 60 meters in length and 2 meters in width. It connects the fish observation walkways on both sides of the creek, linking popular attractions such as the Pinglin Tea Museum, Pinglin Bridge, and Image Market. This bridge offers the best vantage point to observe the fish swimming beneath. As you gaze down, you'll notice the dazzling display of fish swimming beneath the bridge, with an astonishing density that will leave you in awe. It has become a must-visit destination for tourists. The success of Pinglin's river conservation efforts is truly remarkable. Many visitors bring fish food and toast to feed the fish while on the bridge. Although the local government hasn't prohibited this practice, it's essential to remind visitors not to litter or dispose of trash into the river, as it not only pollutes the water source but also harms the fish if they ingest it.
