Banqiao Agricultural Park is located at the intersection of Culture Road and Shuangcheng Road, built by Banqiao District Farmers' Association in 1989, covering an area of approximately 8,400 square meters. It is Taiwan's first recreation park themed around the rural landscape and scenery of the early days of Taiwan's recovery. The park is divided into five areas, including an ancient three-sided courtyard, a Spring Garden, a folk drama stage, rural eight scenic spots, and a health trail. There is also a Fude Temple, with an indoor exhibition hall showcasing the setting of early agricultural society, including a large stove kitchen, a public hall, a wooden bed room, and farm tools. Outside, there are duck and chick statues placed beside the pool and under the trees, creating a strong rural atmosphere. As urban development accelerates, rural areas and traditional three-sided courtyard landscapes are gradually disappearing. Banqiao, which is also rapidly developing, is a place that cherishes the past. The construction of a rural-themed recreation park in the bustling metropolitan area allows today's "city bumpkins" to understand the lives of the past. Next to the park's main gate, there is a long corridor and a stage, where many elderly people like to gather to play chess and chat. The stage occasionally plays old movies or performs puppet shows, allowing people to immerse themselves in the beautiful memories of the past.
