The Ci Hui Temple Mazu Temple is located in the bustling area of Banqiao District, New Taipei City, and is the center of Mazu belief in the old Puzi Interface Fortress of the seventeen villages. It is known as one of the "Five Major Temples of Puzi Interface Fortress" along with the Wenchang Temple on Fangqiao Street (now Banqiao District), the Jieyun Temple on Fangqiao Street (now Banqiao District), the Guangji Temple in Fangliao (now Zhonghe District), and the Dagong Temple in Da'an Village (now Tucheng District). The Ci Hui Temple, with its prosperous incense, is a historic Mazu temple in the Banqiao area, with traditional temple architecture sandwiched between residential houses, forming an interesting contrast. The temple uses cuttings, carvings, and painted decorations, with intricate and exquisite carvings, showcasing the beauty of traditional art. The temple preserves many valuable historical artifacts, such as ancient couplets from the Guangxu and Tongzhi periods of the Qing dynasty, and dragon columns. It's worth visiting with a sense of adventure to explore the ancient artifacts. The most interesting thing is that Mazu's trusted assistants, Qianli Yan (Thousand-Mile Eye) and Shunfeng Er (Favorable Wind Ear), hold golden ingots, and during festivals, people flock to pray for wealth and prosperity.
