The Shigang Branch, completed in 1993, is a four-story building with a total area of over 1,671 square meters. The outdoor reading area offers beautiful scenery and has long been a well-known landmark in Shigang District. With the goal of promoting a leisure culture, the library balances reading and entertainment, becoming a local cultural center that combines social education, art, folklore, and leisure activities.
The library's operating philosophy has always prioritized the needs of the people, continuously seeking new and innovative ways to engage the community and gain the recognition of local residents. Through community-building efforts, the library aims to achieve sustainable development goals. Currently, the library and its surrounding outdoor spaces provide a total of 232 reading seats. Additionally, the library houses a Hakka cultural museum and specialized book collections, preserving valuable historical materials and Hakka literature.
